Your profile

  • Successfully completed IT professional training, e.g. as an IT specialist (f/m/d).

  • Several years of professional experience in the aforementioned areas of responsibility (e.g. in connection with JEE, WildFly, Hibernate, ElasticSearch, Microservices).

  • Strong interest in Java/JEE and IT and/or DevOps.

  • Knowledge as well as practical experience in web development (e.g. Apache Wicket).

  • Knowledge of Svn/Git (or GitLab), Gradle build system and DevOps (Jenkins, Artifactory).

  • In-depth Linux knowledge (Bash scripting).

  • Good knowledge of German as well as English.

  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to work in a team as well as a sense of responsibility.

  • Commitment, flexibility and initiative to innovate.

Further qualifications

  • Passion for new development and product maintenance

  • In-depth programming and architecture knowledge in JEE server development

  • Agile team work

  • Willingness to take responsibility for deployment and operations

  • Occasional communication with partners and customers

  • Experience with distributed development

  • Experience in developing master data management and digital asset management systems advantageous

  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes technologies is advantageous (Helm optional)

  • Willingness to learn systems / open source independently (analysis) a plus.

Your tasks

  • Support in the design of central mediacockpit components (including mediacockpit portal, core, API, submodules) and mediacockpit functions such as search, import/export, and data modeling.

  • Senior-level role in the development of mediacockpit components

  • Supporting the application operation of the developed software and systems

  • During the training period in the first months, occasional appointments in Stuttgart, Markdorf or Freiburg are required.
